BidForJunk Pro Privacy Policy

These terms are issued by CyberErrands Solutions Inc., operating the BidForJunk Pro platform (“BidForJunk Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). BidForJunk Pro is the platform name, product name, and marketplace brand. CyberErrands Solutions Inc. is the legal owner and operator.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how CyberErrands Solutions Inc., operating BidForJunk Pro, collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, and retains personal information and business information in connection with BidForJunk Pro.
2. Information We Collect
Account information, including name, business name, email address, phone number where provided, role, login records, and authentication data. Customer information, including business contact details, job postings, service addresses, access instructions, photos, invoices, payment status, and communications. Provider information, including business details, verification documents, insurance certificates, licences, vehicle or equipment details, service area, bids, commitments, job history, completion evidence, payout data, and dispute records. Platform information, including job notes, bid amounts, accepted bids, commitment timestamps, service-address release records, completion records, confirmation records, messages, support requests, and dispute evidence. Technical information, including IP address, device data, browser type, logs, cookies, analytics events, security events, and error reports. Payment information, including invoice status, payment status, payout status, transaction IDs, Stripe metadata, and processor records. BidForJunk Pro does not intend to store full card numbers on its own servers.
3. Purposes
To create and manage accounts; To verify Providers; To operate the marketplace; To post Jobs, receive Bids, accept Bids, record commitments, release service addresses, coordinate work, and confirm completion; To process invoices, payments, payouts, chargebacks, credits, and accounting records; To resolve disputes and enforce agreements; To prevent fraud, abuse, illegal dumping, non-payment, and platform circumvention; To communicate with users and provide support; To improve, secure, and administer BidForJunk Pro; To comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
4. Consent
By using BidForJunk Pro, creating an account, uploading information, posting Jobs, bidding, committing, performing Jobs, confirming Jobs, or communicating through BidForJunk Pro, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, BidForJunk Pro will seek express consent for sensitive information such as identity documents, insurance documents, or verification materials. You may withdraw consent where legally permitted, but withdrawal may limit or prevent use of the platform.
5. Sharing
BidForJunk Pro may share information with Customers, Providers, Stripe, Stripe Connect, Supabase, Resend, hosting providers, analytics providers, security tools, communication tools, support providers, legal and accounting advisers, insurers, collection agencies, regulators, law enforcement, courts, and business successors where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. BidForJunk Pro does not sell personal information.
6. Customer Personal Contact Details
BidForJunk Pro’s ordinary workflow does not release a Customer’s personal phone number or personal email address to Providers. BidForJunk Pro may share the service address and job details after Provider commitment because those details are required to perform the Job. BidForJunk Pro may provide platform-based or masked communication tools where available.
7. Cross-Border Processing
Service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
8. Safeguards
BidForJunk Pro uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, authentication, restricted access, vendor controls, logging, monitoring, secure storage, and confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure.
9. Retention
BidForJunk Pro retains information as long as reasonably necessary for platform operation, account management, payment records, tax and accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, insurance, enforcement, audit records, and legitimate business purposes. Some records may be retained after account closure where required or permitted by law.
10. Access and Correction
Users may request access to personal information held by BidForJunk Pro and may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. BidForJunk Pro may need to verify identity and may refuse or limit access where permitted by law.
11. Photos and Sensitive Information
Users must avoid uploading photos showing people, children, medical records, financial documents, identification documents, private tenant information, unrelated personal items, or sensitive information unless necessary for the Job. BidForJunk Pro may use job photos and completion photos to support bidding, completion confirmation, disputes, fraud prevention, and enforcement.
12. Breach Response
BidForJunk Pro will assess privacy or security incidents and take steps appropriate to the risk. Where required by law, BidForJunk Pro will notify affected individuals, regulators, or other organizations and keep required incident records.
13. Quebec and National Expansion
Before active expansion into Quebec, BidForJunk Pro will assess and implement applicable Quebec private-sector privacy requirements, including privacy governance, transparency, privacy officer responsibilities, incident management, consent, and cross-border assessment obligations.
